my sleep is being interrupted by dreams/nightmares of school days.
I know I will stop obsessing as soon as my room has been cleaned and I can start setting up. I need to know that the setup in my head will work in reality. I need to know when they are moving the interactive board so I can stop stressing about if it is going to be put where I want it to be placed. I wish I could be one of those people that just relaxes when I'm on vacation
I've been busy reading up on the Common Core and getting myself organized for the upcoming year
(with a little help from www.clutterfreeclassroom.blogspot.com
and of course making my adorable minions.
Being in a new classroom, I get to start from scratch which is fun, but time consuming for me. I'll post pictures along the way. I just wish I could get started now!

First project

As you can guess, I have a problem... but it's a problem that I don't want solved!
Here's my sample!
I can't wait for the new school year... actually yes I can. I don't want to hear that 5:15AM alarm just yet!

I decided it was time I gave this blogging thing a try. I have no idea how it all really works or how to do any of the cool things all those I follow do. I am more of a try as I go person- I don't like to be shown, I want to figure it out. So please excuse the inevitable mess ups I will make. Here goes nothin'...
